Reverend Richard H. Creason, Pastor
Father Richard Creason was the youngest of four children born in Walnut Park and raised in Jennings. He attended Corpus Christi grade school and came to the seminary after graduation. After theological studies and ordination in 1967, he served as associate pastor at St. Mathias the Apostle, Holy Rosary, Sts. John and James, and St. Mark/St. Barbara. In addition, he received a Master of Arts degree in Urban Affairs from Washington University in 1973. Fr. Creason received his first assignment as pastor at St. Barbara’s, followed by St. Pius V, and later at St. Paul the Apostle. In 1995 Fr Creason was assigned as pastor at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and he continues to lead this parish today. Fr. Creason is well-known throughout this community for his active role in many community advisory panels and action committees that focus on providing access to a safe and secure living environment for all people.
Sister Janice Munier, SSND
Sister Janice is a Notre Dame School Sister, receiving her training in South Saint Louis, at the sisters’ Ripa campus. She was raised, one of five girls, in Freeburg, Illinois and continues to care for her 91 year old mother. Previously she taught in Missouri and Illinois schools for 23 years, including roles as Campus Director at St. Elizabeth Academy and Director of Religion for two Illinois parishes. Her assignment before coming to Holy Trinity was to minister to the Tohono O’odham, an Indian tribe in Arizona. She served there for twelve years.
Ruth Mitchell, Secretary/Administrative Assistant
For 30 years, Ruth has been the first person most people meet when they come to the rectory. She is a graduate of both St. Alphonsus “Rock” Church grade and high school and the mother of three. Her work experience includes secretarial positions for Saint Louis University School of Nursing at St. Mary’s, legal secretary for Leroy Steiner, a member of the Civil Defense Police Force in Saint Louis County, Record Writer at the Civil Courts Building and part-time assistance at the Little Sisters of the Poor. If that isn’t enough, Ruth also took flying lessons, but ended the program when she had to do a cross-country solo flight in a Cessna.
John Kosash, School Principal
John has earned his Ph. D. in Educational Administration, his M.A. in Personnel Administration, and his B.A. in English, all from St. Louis University. Among his achievements, he has earned the Missouri Gold Star Award, U. S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award where he was recognized at the White House Ceremony for Schools of Excellence, and received the Governor Award for Safe and Drug-Free Schools, for his leadership in creating a national model for a quality learning environment with programs in reading and math.
Kim Lenz, Financial Development Director
Kim grew up in Burbank, California and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She is the youngest of five children and the mother of two. Kim started in banking and finance in 1984 in Los Angeles, and worked her way twice across the US, landing in St Louis in 1999 with Bank of America’s Private Bank marketing and change management team. Kim carries a Missouri broker-salesperson’s license in real estate, and is a member of both NAR and the Association of Fund Raising Professionals. Kim joined Holy Trinity in September 2007.
Mary Clements, Music Director
Mary has lived in the Greater St. Louis area all of her life. After college she settled down with her husband Larry to raise their four children. Along the way she enjoyed singing with her high school and university choruses, the Symphony Chorus, Sweet Adelines, several Parish Choirs and most recently, the Archdiocesan Choir. Since 1994 she has worked in Music Ministry for parishes in St. Charles County, St. Louis County and St. Louis City. She enjoys discovering the latent musical talents in parisioners and helping them to develop their skills for worship. Mary chose to celebrate age fifty by earning a Masters Degree in Sacred Music. She has served on the board for the American Guild of Organists and as Director for the St. Louis Chapter of National Pastoral Musicians. and now in
