Holy Trinity’s endowment fund was created in 1996; a wise investment and legacy of daughter churches that could not be sustained any longer in the area. The principal amount of this endowment continues to grow through donations. The principal is never withdrawn or spent, only invested. As the principal grows in this endowment fund, income earned off of the principal will eventually become an on-going source of revenue for Holy Trinity.
Just as it is important for a family to save money for things like children’s education, emergencies and retirement, it is important for our parish and school to build reserves on which they can depend. Funds generated through an endowment program will always be there … a perpetual donation for generations to come.
