History

St Liborius Social Ministries was established in 1985, through the generous works of parishioners at St Genevieve du Bois Parish located in Warson Woods. Their mission was to provide food and other assistance to economically disadvantaged families living within the St Liborius parish boundaries. In 1992, the St Liborius Church was closed by the Archdiocese of St Louis and the parish boundaries of Holy Trinity Catholic Church were re-extended to include residents previously located within St Liborius boundaries. St Liborius Social Ministries continued to operate in the basement of St Liborius Church under the sponsorship of St Genevieve du Bois Church. This pantry is operated by volunteers; there are no salaried employees associated with St Liborius Social Ministries.
